Internal Peace

Intro:
Appearance doesn’t matter
No one’s here to criticize
Feelings are nonexistent
With people out of mind
Can’t make me pissed or sad
Even happiness comes from them
The only obstacle is myself
With the right mindset, no problem

Verse 1:
Time is unimportant
It’s just society’s measure
Of events meant to happen
Without it, it’s a pleasure
No reason to conform to that
My priorities are I
Isolation is nirvana
Time freely passes by

Bridge:
If I ever star feeling alone
It’s just my judgment telling me so
Because when no one else is here
Their opinions disappear

Chorus:
Here I’ve found my internal peace
My strengths and weaknesses
No one is here to judge me
Make their assumptive guesses
Contrary to popular belief
The only judgment is my own
Only I can make me weak
That’s why I’d much rather be alone

Verse 2:
I grow strong as a god
Nothing can go wrong
I control my destiny
It is here I wrote the songs
They aren’t for the world to hear
Only for me to reflect
Intentions born from power
Where the silence is perfect

Chorus:
Here I’ve found my internal peace
My strengths and weaknesses
No one is here to judge me
Make their assumptive guesses
Contrary to popular belief
The only judgment is my own
Only I can make me weak
That’s why I’d much rather be alone

Verse 3:
The willingness to wrestle with demons
Will cause angels to sing

Chorus:
Here I’ve found my internal peace
My strengths and weaknesses
No one is here to judge me
Make their assumptive guesses
Contrary to popular belief
The only judgment is my own
Only I can make me weak
That’s why I’d much rather be alone
